regulation

1. exhibition

  • includes all items in the catalogue, identified by the respective number;
  • taking pictures or filming the items is allowed only with ALIS agreement;
  • the visitors are requested to move very carefully within the premises of the exhibition; those interested in acquiring an object are allowed and even recommended to control the objects to be able to check their state, authenticity and agreement with the signs and marks; ALIS's personnel is at your disposal at all times to prompty meet all your requirements;
  • any damage caused to the exhibits will be borne by the person resposible of causing it, according to the agreement with the auction organizers;
  • those interested in acquiring items in an auction sale, unable to be personally present in the sale, are asked to contact the organizers to establish the representation means.

2. auction - general regulations

  • the auction sale starts at 12.00h, goes precisely in the order mentioned in the catalogue and ends after the last item in the catalogue has been on sale, without break or deadline;
  • any natural or juristic person can participate in the auction sale irrespective of nationality or residence- the auction is strictly ascending, the confirmation of the price proposed by the sale leader being done only by raising the numbered card obtained from the organizers;
  • the adjudication of the item is irrevocably done after three callings, by the mallet stroke, by the number designated by the auction sale leader;
  • the adjudication represents payment commitment;
  • the bidding card is returned to the organizers.

3. registration

  • the persons first participating in an auction sale have to fill up a registration form which is also a payment commitment and certifies knowing and recognising the present regulations; the form is completed under signature;
  • any modification in the data included in the registration form have to be annouced to the organizers, a request which is valid for all persons already recorded in ALIS database.

4. payment

  • can be done starting with the sales date within a week, according to ALIS' working programme;
  • the following commisions (all taxes included) are added to the adjudication value:
    • 19.50% for each item with less than 10000 LEI (inclusively) adjudication value;
    • 17.25% for adjudication values between 10001 and 50000 LEI (inclusively) - for each item;
    • 15.00% for adjudication values higher than 50000 LEI, for each item.

5. payment means

  • by payment order issued to BRD Calderon account no. RO12BRDE410SV21862404100 (lei) and no. RO11BRDE410SV18851544100 ($), RO32BRDE410SV18383584100 (EURO) (hard currency for non-resident persons);
  • by VISA, EUROCARD-MASTERCARD credit cards (lei or hard currency for non-resident persons);
  • cash, in lei, at ALIS' headquarters;
  • in the case of bank payment, which require transfer time, it is recommended that the payment is done during the first part of the interval to urge the payment;
  • any delay in payment after the deadline established by the regulations will be announced to the organizers in due time;
  • the object delivery is made after the issue of the invoice at the buyer's request- the state and integrity of the objects is checked at delivery;
  • the buyer can dispute the authenticity of the object only within 15 days from the auction sale date, on the basis of a counter;
  • expertise signed by a specialist recognized in the domain or by a specialized institution.

6. offering means for unsold items

  • for the unsold objects, buying offers can be made at lower sums than the catalogue price (the sale is made after the owner accept); in this case, the commissions and charges are applied at the same amount and under the same conditions;
  • in case, during the sale, an interested person requests the reintroduction into sale of an unadjudicated item, it can be done with ALIS House accept, by filling up and signing an offer form, 10% being added to the initial price as a new entry price;
  • at the end of the auction sale, unsaled objects can be saled with ALIS House accept, only with a 10% penalty added to the catalogue price.

7. final regulations

  • the export of the adjudicated objects will be made by the interested persons only by observing the legislation in force, the export approval of the State Office of the National Patrimony being necessary; ALIS House does not get involved in export matters;
  • in case of undesired but possible misprintings, the company takes the right not to put into sale the items susceptible to create confusions or misinterpretations;
  • the non-observance of these regulations automatically draws the cancelation of the right to participate in the auction sale.
